Just to let you know, there's a small change in the forum handling, as of today. The forums are now only visible once you log in. Anonymous visitors can no longer read the forums. Just to let you all know:
- We can now talk with more than 16 people on our teamspeak server. I finally managed to find where to increase that number. We now can shout with 50 at the same time; enough for 2 Gruul groups (gotta be optimistic right?)
- I updated the guildies list on the roster application, so feel free to upload your profile. You should be 'known' as member now in the app.

As of this week's patch, "bank characters" are out and "guild vaults" are in. So of course we now have one. If you travel to any bank, you'll see a vault - like a closet with a big keyhole in it - which you can inspect.

The vault is divided into tabs. On the first tab you'll generally see ready-to-use items, on the second tab you'll find materials (for enchants and the like). Sillverhair is cleaning up our closet, so this layout will quite certainly change

The way that the vault works, is as follows. If you need an item or materials, check with the vault first. If your desired item is in there, talk to an officer and they'll get it for you. There is a charge - 50% of the auction house price. The cash goes back into the vault, to help finance potions for raiding and the such.

Check regularly to see if there are items that you would like to have. It's what the vault is for. If you need crafters, check the forum (there's a topic "Items and Stuff") to see which guildie can craft for you.

And remember - donations of your spare stuff are welcome!

I know. This probably isn't a smart thing to post. For weeks - if not months - to come, I'll have to listen to guildies' talk like, "Hey Klinky, check the damagemeter now will ya" so that I may find out that I'm barely outdoing the tank, like last week. But hey - finally I got the #1 position, that's worth a screen shot!

Besides, if you post your own screenshots where you outdo me, I'll just silently erase your post, hoping that no-one will ever see it...

Hello guys!!! I was wondering why the Karazhan's runs are only three times per week?

Also i want to ask you if we can make a Kara run at friday or saturday...? Or to change the sundays' run to saturday? (That's because i cannot join you at karazhan because i have no time the other days because of my studies and my school :(   )

Erhms has pointed out that his forum signup had gone awry. He even reported that the forum system mailed him a membership form which he should show to his parents, so that they could sign it. I agree - bit overdone when you aren't a kid anymore. It turned out that the account had been created, but in an "inactive" state. Of course it took just a small checkbox to activate the account, once I had figured it out. (Aah the wonders of our Computer Age...)

Anyway, when signing up, make sure that you say you're over 18. And if things don't go as planned, drop me an ingame note and I'll look into it and I will hopefully fix it - now that I know where to look!

After a nasty series of wipes in Karazhan, we were eager to go out and just kill stuff, have fun, and rebuild our confidence. ("We don't suck, we just had bad luck.") So we formed a group to do a quick Heroic Ramparts run - "we" being Hinky, Sillverhair, Thimerol, Xack and yours truly.

Giddy with anticipation we entered the instance, and Xack died moments later, don't ask why... He said was wearing his "tanking gear". After a few wipes Sillverhair was nice enough to share the damagemeter list with us.



You cannot imagine Hinky being any happier, given the list order. She almost peed in her plate underwear. After some laughter on teamspeak Xack changed gear ("Enough of tanking, I'm gonna put on my DPS gear.")

We did down the first boss in the end and happily went off with a heroic badge.

What a great start of September. We're happy to welcome 20+ guildies at JAG, and already yesterday night there was a good kickoff at Kara. Unfortunately I wasn't there myself, but I hear that Attumen went down like a brick. All newest members, nice to have y'all aboard, and we hope that we'll have a great time together!

We seem to be having more success in Kara these days. Three bosses down in one evening is not bad going by anyones standards. The alliance between UC and JAG is paying off well.

I think our next problem will be having too many people looking for slots. Perhaps one day we will be onto 2 raids running, but until then we are running it as first come first served. The only exceptions are priority will be given to needed classes. If 10 hunters log on first then not all 10 will get to go. Well, you know what I mean.

The curator will soon be on our hit list - so keep an eye out for arcane resist gear. for clothies that means soulcloth. Please put a note on forum as to who can make any soulcloth gear.

Onwards and Upwards !

We have currently two alliances with similar-minded, small guilds. We've  channels where we can ask each other for group members. So please all do:

• /join jaguc to join the channel with which we talk to the Utility Crew;
• /join sentjag to join the channel with which we talk to the Sentinels of Hope.

Then when you need a group member, try the channels!

Just a short note to let everyone know that there has been a friendly alliance formed between us and "sentinels of hope".

This is another small guild with similar attitudes to playing WoW.

We have formed a channel "sentjag" which we can all log on to by typing "/join sentjag", this will allow us to chat to members of the other guild. Initially this is just an alliance to allow us to avoid using PuG channels, but will hopefully build to the point where we can get regular help to fill the 10slot raids to Kara.

As of now - before you enter LFG to find an extra for your party, put a shout out in sentjag and ask for their help first.

Welcome one and all to "Just another guild".

I am glad we managed to maintain a group of friends that are happy to chat, quest and play together. The intention was never to break up the merry band, merely to offer a calm port with as few hecklers and moaners as possible.

From here on let's recruit people we at least know of, and try to avoid the ones that join and instantly flood guild chat with "need boost through SM", and "can some1 lend me gold for mount pleeeez!"

There are no gear, attunement or class requirements, just a bit of common sense and a laid back attitude to gaming.

Other than that, lets get some instance runs and keys sorted
